1972 Adana doğumludur. Eskişehir Anadolu Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Grafik Tasarım Bölümünü 1998 yılında bitirdi.
Şehircilik Atölyesi’nde Buğra, görsel iletişim ve kreatif aşamalardan sorumlu.
After graduating from Rotary Anatolian High School, İpek chose İzmir Institute of Technology to study in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning in line with her interest in urban affairs and public interest priority issues. During her undergraduate education in Gülbahçe Village of Urla District of İzmir, she had a pleasant 6-year when she experienced academic, professional, and beautiful opportunities of İzmir. After moving to Istanbul to continue her master’s degree education in the Department of Regional Planning in İstanbul Technical University, she started her professional career and found the opportunity to work in various fields where she experienced the multi-disciplinary structure of planning education.
In her career that started in planning offices, she gained work experience in different sectors such as real estate investment consultancy, urban transformation project expertise, public projects management consultancy, and research assistant in scientific research projects through the eyes of a planner. Within the scope of creativity, which she preferred to specialize in her graduate education at Istanbul Technical University, she worked in İstanbul Design Bureau as a project manager on behalf of Istanbul, which received the title of Design City within the scope of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network Program, due to her work on creative industries and creative cities.
Her adventure in the Adana Metropolitan Municipality started as a Mayoral Advisor in order to apply the experiences she gained in all these processes to Adana, the city where she was born. She continues her duty of the responsibility for the projects of the Mayor Zeydan Karalar by establishing the Şehircilik Atölyesi.
She completed her architectural undergraduate education at Gaziantep University in 2017, which she preferred due to the fact that her interest in design from an early age has focused on space design. Her interest in public space design and user relations during her undergraduate education solidified in Italy where she went through a student exchange program, and she continued her research on this subject. After her research axis shifted to the creative and contradictory thinking practices of architecture, she started her thesis study on Experimental Architecture in her master’s program at Çukurova University. During this period, she gained experience in residential design, public space design, and interior design in various offices. Since 2019, she has been working as the President of the Building Group in Çukurova Young Engineers and Architects Association, of which she is a member, in order to contribute to her professional development.
In the Şehircilik Atölyesi, she offers spatial solutions to the needs and problems of the city.
Ülkemizde özel bir üniversitede tam burslu olarak lisans eğitimini tamamlayan Çağdaş, Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisi olmanın yanı sıra Çift Anadal Programı ile Bilgisayar Mühendisi oldu. Mesleki olarak üyesi olduğu TMMOB Elektrik Mühendisleri Odası’nda çeşitli eğitimler almanın yanı sıra çevrimiçi platformlarda farklı konularda eğitimlere katıldı.
Şehircilik Atölyesi’nde Çağdaş, teknoloji geliştirme alanıyla ilgileniyor.
