A Greener Adana
In our new urban transportation plans; We have started a process where we prioritize both creating lower density living spaces that we can reach everywhere by walking and cycling, and expanding these transportation axes, which are currently very inadequate in our city. We are designing new and healthy cycling routes by phasing the whole city.
Our primary goal is to raise awareness about the use of bicycles as a real means of transportation in our city.
In the first stage, Turgut Özal Boulevard, in the second stage, we are creating new bicycle paths by the water in order to complement our water canal side recreation works. In our third phase, we have prepared a work program in which we plan to work on the continuity of our existing but idle bicycle paths. In time, we plan to expand our application areas and create a total of 135 km bicycle route.
